Diabetes: more control, fewer complications
Ozone therapy improves four fronts of the disease: glucose regulation, circulation, tissue oxygenation and defense against infection.

The epidemic of the 21st century
Type 2 diabetes is a chronic multisystem syndrome: insulin isn't used properly and blood glucose rises, damaging nerves, arteries, kidneys and retina over time. It goes with obesity, hypertension and insulin resistance: the so-called cardiometabolic syndrome.
It is incurable but controllable. Control depends on diet, exercise, medication and, as a complement, on improving how cells use glucose and oxygen.
Signs that control isn't enough
- Excess thirst, urination and appetite
- Constant fatigue
- Tingling or burning in the feet
- Wounds slow to close
- Repeated infections (skin, urinary)
- Blurred vision
- Cramps and cold legs
- Glucose that won't drop despite medication
Glucose-lowering drugs bring the number down. Ozone improves how that glucose is used inside the cell and protects the tissues diabetes damages.
Systemic ozone: four effects in one therapy
Ozone autohemotherapy stimulates glycolysis (using glucose as energy), improves circulation and the blood's oxygen-carrying capacity, activates antioxidant enzymes that neutralize sugar's oxidative damage and strengthens defenses against infection. In patients with neuropathy or wounds it is combined with local ozone (see diabetic foot).
How the program works
- Evaluation: review of glucose, HbA1c, circulation and foot sensation.
- Autohemotherapy cycle: 2 sessions per week, 40 minutes.
- Prevention: foot check every cycle and local ozone if there is neuropathy or wounds.
- Maintenance: monthly boosters coordinated with your treating physician.
Who is a candidate?
People with hard-to-control type 2 diabetes, neuropathy, poor circulation or slow wounds, and patients with prediabetes or metabolic syndrome who want to prevent complications.
Frequently asked
What patients ask before booking
Does it replace my medication?
No. It is complementary; any dose adjustment is made by your doctor as your control improves.
Does it lower glucose immediately?
The effect builds over the cycle; many patients see a better HbA1c at three months.
Does it help diabetic neuropathy?
Yes: it improves nerve oxygenation and reduces burning and tingling.
Can I combine it with IV vitamins?
Yes, with B-complex vitamins and antioxidants in the same session.
