Waking up as if you'd been beaten

Fibromyalgia is the pain epidemic of the 21st century: chronic widespread pain, exaggerated tenderness at specific points, tiredness that lasts all day and sleep that doesn't restore. It mostly affects women over 35 and is mistaken for depression, arthritis or "stress", so many patients wait years for a diagnosis.

It can be triggered by spinal trauma, a viral or bacterial infection, extreme sports or sustained work and family pressure.

    Features and associated symptoms

    • Diffuse pain all over the body
    • Tender points on pressure
    • Tired from the moment you wake up
    • Non-restorative sleep, insomnia
    • Poor focus and short-term memory lapses
    • Irritable bowel, abdominal pain
    • Dry eyes, cold hands, palpitations
    • Dizziness and headaches

Conventional treatment combines antidepressants, anticonvulsants and painkillers, with side effects that sometimes weigh as much as the disease. Ozone offers an anti-inflammatory and energizing effect without additional drugs.

Major autohemotherapy: ozone in the blood

A small amount of your blood is drawn, mixed with a precise oxygen-ozone dose and reinfused. Ozone stimulates the body's own antioxidant enzymes, improves tissue oxygenation, modulates the immune system and lowers the inflammatory mediators that keep widespread pain going. The effect builds session after session.

    How the treatment works

    1. Evaluation: history, tender-point exam and review of tests to rule out other causes.
    2. Autohemotherapy cycle: 2 sessions per week, 40 minutes, in a comfortable chair.
    3. Add-ons: depending on the case we add IV vitamin therapy or local injections at tender points.
    4. Maintenance: monthly booster sessions to sustain energy and pain control.

    Who is a candidate?

Patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome, and people with widespread pain not responding to medication. Contraindications such as uncontrolled hyperthyroidism or favism are ruled out at the evaluation.

    Frequently asked

    What patients ask before booking

How many sessions do I need?

An initial cycle of 10 to 15 sessions; afterwards, monthly boosters depending on progress.

Can I keep taking my medication?

Yes. Ozone therapy is combined with your current treatment; over time many patients lower their doses under medical supervision.

    Does it hurt?

It feels like a blood draw. The session is comfortable and you can read or rest.

Does it work for chronic fatigue without fibromyalgia?

Yes; the energizing and anti-inflammatory effect applies to both.
