Before you book
Does the ozone application hurt?
Local anesthesia is used for injections and discolysis. Most patients describe a few seconds of pressure or mild burning. Autohemotherapy feels like a blood draw.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the diagnosis. A herniated disc is usually resolved with one discolysis plus follow-up; knee and chronic pain are treated in cycles of 5 to 10 sessions. You get the number at your evaluation.
Do I need to bring scans?
For spine and knee it helps a lot to bring a recent MRI or X-rays. If you don't have them, we tell you which ones to get at the evaluation.
Is ozone therapy safe?
We use medical ozone generated from pure oxygen at controlled concentrations between 2 and 87 mcg/ml, following Mexican Ozone Therapy Association protocols. It is contraindicated in very few cases (e.g. uncontrolled hyperthyroidism or favism), which we rule out at the evaluation.
Do you take U.S. dollars and cards?
